Do you remember in 'Friends' when Joey had "eating" pants? Well this is my "eating" dress. I wear it when I know I'm gonna eat a hearty meal and thus get a food baby belly :) I wore it to lunch with the boy today. We went to Jerk City in Soho, it's our favorite lunch place and whenever we go we both eat a little too much. I adore Caribbean food! Mmmmmmmmmmm.

Studded hair band: Jennifer Behr

If you follow me on twitter then you've probably already heard all about my obsession with this studded hair band. I came across it in Liberties last week and immediately fell deeply in love with it. It makes me look like a punk rock fortune teller- what's not to love!? The price is what's not to love. £410 is waaaaay over my hair band/turban budget- even for one as beautifully made as this. I plan to do my own DIY version and hopefully that will satisfy my cravings. 

I forgot to mention this in the '4.3.2.1' post but I bumped into Wiley at the after party. He's working on some stuff at the boy's brother's record label- Back Yard. 'Electric Boogaloo' is his latest track.... You can have a listen and see the video here.

p.s anyone know where in London I can get some studs for my DIY turban? I'd prefer not to buy them online so I can see what I'm getting :)

The weather has been AMAZING this weekend! The boy and I spent Saturday afternoon on Primrose Hill with some friends. We lazed about eating ice cream, making daisy chains and reading. Everyone else read the saturday news papers but I stuck with my Jackie Collins novel.... Far more enjoyable if you ask me!

The Louis Vuitton 'Neverfull' bag was one of the items I rediscovered on my return to London. It's the perfect picnic/beach bag. You can throw a ton of stuff in it and it's robust and durable enough to take it.

This week I'll be continuing the search for a flat. Ugh!

*** Since I posted this we found a flat! Seconds from my beloved Primrose Hill! I'll be sunning myself there all summer long :)

Another little insight to share with all my aspiring actor readers: There are no weekends during pilot season! I have had meetings on saturdays and sundays. I actually think this can sometimes be a good thing because it means that A: There is very little traffic, and B: You get to drive right onto the studio lot and not just park in the parking structure on the edge and walk 4 miles to the building that you need.

This saturday I had a meeting on the Fox lot. I got to drive straight to my building AND I drove right through a New York street scene. I was so excited I actually squealed! I cant help it, I'm a nerd and those are the things I think are cool :)

I don't watch the Oscar's because all I care about are the dresses and who won but I was lucky enough to be in the living room while the boy was watching at THE exact moment that Monique won her award... thus I got to see Samuel L Jackson's magnificent side eye live! 

Nowhere to stop on Mulholland Drive

I snagged this dress in the LF sale. It's totally see through but I don't let that stop me- denim shorts with some lace layering and I'm good to go! Me and the boy wanted to take pictures up on Mulholland Drive but as the title suggests there wasn't anywhere to stop. Every place we found had other cars parked there and I felt like it was too spooky! We took these on Sunset Blvd instead....  although now I'm looking at them we could have been anywhere!

Sooooo tired this week. I don't think my brain can hold any more lines! I've decided the best way to sum up pilot season is that it's like going to work all day but without getting paid. Still.... I'm glad to be doing it :)

I don't usually dress like this to go to Trader Joe's! On the way back from a meeting me and the boy did our weekly shopping AND a little impromptu photo shoot in the car park.

My balenciaga weekender is one of my favorite bags. It's a modern classic.... just like the silhouette of the American Apparel dress: Short with long sleeves. Works every time.

Some people say black is boring. Some people should shut up ;)
