I found this skirt languishing at the bottom of my closet. It's more "girlie" then the items that I usually reach for but the light weight cotton material made it perfect for a hot afternoon in Hollywood.

I splashed out on a new bag (instagramed here). I love that it's a modern take on an old calssic. The leather is matte and the hardware is tarnished so it gives what can be quite a preppy style a bit of edge. I like dressing it down with cut offs and flats but it will work great for cocktails too.... I am totally justifying a very expensive purchase!

Back in London and it feels good.... Well it does now that the sun is shining. It was freezing for the first week we were here- far too cold for May even by London's standards.

I'm rocking a bit of double leopard here. Too much of a good thing? Not to me!

This is my hair untouched. It looks like this if I wash it and leave it alone. Sometimes it's nice to have a break from all the heat.

I picked these shorts up this weekend at The Melrose Trading Post market. There's a denim 'cut offs' stall there that is amazing. I get all my vintage levis from that market. For those of you not in LA I've found some equally as good rainbow shorts HERE & HERE. I think I'll be wearing mine a LOT this summer :)

I keep getting questions about my watch. As far as I can see the MK5055 and the MK5384 are basically the same watch. I've checked and double checked and THIS is definitely the watch I'm wearing.

There's something about a light weight knit that seems to balance out short shorts perfectly. I snagged this one from the Urban Outfitters sale.

I love the detail on this shirt. Really simple with just a touch of 'edge'. I have to give credit to the boy because he was the one who spotted it whilst we were shopping at The Grove.

Shorts are becoming my go to item. I have three pairs on rotation: red ones, stripe ones and my trusty vintage levis. The early morning starts when I'm filming mean I reach for whatever is in the pile at the end of my bed.

It's dawned on me just how much of my wardrobe I left behind in London.... I miss my shoes!

If any of you are considering getting a pair of these shorts I recommend you go up a couple of sizes. They are cut very high on the leg and show a fair bit of bum! I took 2 sizes up.

I've had this TFNC shirt for a while and pure laziness prevented me from wearing it. It's difficult to iron! I've got myself a steamer now and it's like my new best friend. The back detail on this shirt is lovely and to really get the full effect you kind of have to go braless so I was on nipple duty the whole time I was wearing it. Thank goodness for the long hair ;)

Lots of you emailed me to ask about these shoes. They are part of a limited range collaboration between New Look and the London Collage of Fashion. As far as I know they have sold out on line but you may still be lucky enough to snag a pair in store. Mine came from the Oxford Circus branch :)

I'm obsessed with blue nails at the moment. The shade I'm wearing here is 'Blue Curacao' courtesy of Mavala. It makes me feel summary despite the lack lustre weather we're having here in London. Which shades are your summer favourites?
