Longevity

Shoes: TopShop. Jeans: Car Mar (very similar pair here).
Blouse: TopShop. Watch: Michael Kors.

I wore this outfit with black boots and a leather jacket during the day and then switched out the boots for these sandals and a sparkly clutch for cocktails with the boy in the evening.

I'm wearing my go to red lip 'ruby woo' by mac. Still the best red out there in my opinion!

Long and Short of It

Cashmere Jumper: Uniqlo. Leather Skirt: Courtesy of Viparo
Boots: Dolce Vita. Bag: Alexander Wang. Watch: Michael Kors.
"Iddo" name plate ring: Courtesy of: My Name Necklace. Sunglasses: Rayban.

A short skirt and a long jumper is an equation that always makes sense to me. There are more pictures of me wearing this skirt styled a little differently here.

The boy is finally home and he brought my engagement ring back with him :) It's such an old piece of jewellery that we were having trouble with a diamond that kept falling out. He took it back to London with him to have the designer repair it and now it's finally back on my finger where it belongs.  It's often joined by at least 3 other rings. I'm a ring magpie.

Never Give Up.

Skirt: Urban Outfitters. Shirt: Zara. Belt: Vintage.
Sandals: Prada. Bag: Chanel.

I pass this mural on my way to work. Makes me smile every time :)

I love the detail on this shirt. Really simple with just a touch of 'edge'. I have to give credit to the boy because he was the one who spotted it whilst we were shopping at The Grove.

Portfolio

Shorts: Vintage. Shirt: TopShop
T.shirt & hat: Vintage.

I recently joined IMG and had to do a photo shoot for my portfolio. It's rare that anyone other then The Boy takes my picture and I actually enjoy it but it was a true pleasure working with Khalid El-Awad. Thanks Khalid, I love the pictures!

You can see more pictures from the shoot here.  My heart actually stopped when I saw Tyra on the same page!

Double

Faux Fur Coat: Asos. Studded Leopard Boots: Courtesy of Kandee Shoes
Jeans & Denim Shirt: TopShop. Scarf (used as headband): Vintage.

I have a thing for double denim... I love it so much I even freezed my tush off for these pictures. It's been so fricking cold recently! My ears can't take it anymore and ear muffs are not a look I can carry off so I've started wrapping this scarf around my ears in a bid to stop them from falling off. So far so good!

The faux fur coat is the one I posted about here. Seriously cosy :)

A few of you have asked which shoes I wear when I'm not wearing heels.... The truth is I wear heels a lot but I also wear these:

P.S The boy has started his own blog!

Spare parts

Some shots from my time in Mallorca this summer to make up for my lack of posting. I made friends with lots of stray cats and got the boy on the other side of the camera for once.

I'm filming in Manchester and the boy is filming in London...  Sigh. Us being apart means less outfit posts for you guys. Sorry!

I find it hard to focus on anything other then my script when I'm filming but I of course left time for commentary of the Emmy dresses! You can read my rants on twitter here :)

Ribbed

Photographs by Kevin Morosky

My friend asked if he could use us as his subjects for his article in Ribbed Magazine. He shot us on a vintage hasselblad camera. Him and the boy had lots of fun geeking out and playing with it. We took these in the living room. We don't have a television here, instead there's a projector which Kevin LOVES! He asked us to choose a film that meant something to both of us and shot us in front of it using only the light from the projector. We choose 'One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest'. It's the boy's favorite film and it's the film that the director asked me watch on my first ever job back when I was 16.

Wedding Daze

Our friend David got married this weekend and it was the BEST wedding EVER.

We took these in the photo booth at the after party... We got a copy and we put a copy in the guest book. Such a cute idea!

The bride wore Givenchy and Riccardo Tisci himself was there. Tom Ford was close enough for me to touch and I danced with Mario Testino. Instead of a band the guests were entertained by synchronized swimmers in the pool at Shorditch House.  Like I said- Best. Wedding. Ever.

I'll post both of my dresses later this week :)

Long weekend

You can barely see what I'm wearing in these! But I'll tell you anyway;)
Jeans: J Brand. T Shirt: Kain. Tux Jacket: TopShop. Bag: Alexander Wang. Nails: OPI- Done out in Deco.

It's a bank holiday weekend here in England which means GUARANTEED rain! Seriously it has been freezing cold and raining all bloody weekend. Ugh!

Friday night me and the boy went to our favorite cocktail spot in London- Claridges. I adore going there! The bar snacks are yummy and the cocktails are simply the best you'll ever have. We convinced Kevin to join us and we spent a couple of cosy hours in Claridges before getting a taxi over to Soho house for burgers and more cocktails. We some how ended up finishing the night in a funny little bar in Angel that only served 'classic' drinks and had no vodka on the menu. We all had to have whisky sours... not a bad drink actually!

Kevin took all these pictures and I'll be posting more of his work in the coming weeks. He shoots on the same camera that Terry Richardson uses... forgive my ignorance but I can't remember the name of it! If you want to see more of Daren's photography and read some of his lovely writing you can find him here

Here Come The Girls

Becca, Me, Elizabeth, Jenni, Zahra and Krystelle aka Stepford.
Shorts and denim shirt: TopShop. Lace bodysuit: American Apparel. Clogs: Jeffery Campbell.
The Boy...

I had some of my friends round for a cake extravaganza. Krystelle aka Stepford kindly baked the cakes for us. We were spoiled with lemon drizzle cake and the best brownies I've ever had in my life. I don't cook but I am excellent at presentation so I opened packets of party snacks and placed them beautifully on the table ;)

I asked the ladies to dress in what they felt best showed their personal style and I think they all look awesome...

  • Becca has the 'girl next door' look locked- super natural make up and a great pair of jeans.
  • Elizabeth looks like a rockstar. I love her patent dm's.
  • Jenni's wispy dress has an innocence that is sooooooo pretty (then you realize she's not wearing a bra and is actually a naughty minx!)
  • Zahra'a polka dots are really cute and have a vintage feel. I love how she toughens them up with a denim shirt.
  • Krystelle lives up to her Stepford name through and through- that dress and belt give her curves to die for! She can work a red lip like no other.

The boy (patient as always- there would be no blog without him) took the group shots and the ones of me and I took the rest! Some how I managed to actually get some pictures in focus.
